I’m Jenny. I'm married to the most hard-working, faith-centered, kind-hearted man who happens to build houses for a living. I have had the joy to partner with Dave over the past decade in designing and creating spaces that are foremost welcoming and inviting. I believe a home should reflect the personality of the ones who live there. It should be a place where the people and things you love surround you. Perfection is never the goal. Beautiful spaces are most often imperfect and full of character. Just like people. :)
Dave is an expert craftsman, builder and general contractor. His knowledge of restoring old homes is unsurpassed and his passion for bringing the unique qualities of historic homes back to life is contagious. His work includes custom new homes, restoring historic homes, renovating spaces, as well as building unique and gorgeous custom furniture pieces. He mills his own lumber and partners with local artisans to ensure each Marrs Developing home is built with the utmost quality, care and integrity.
We are also parents to five little ones. We have twin boys, two daughters and a new baby - currently all 9 and under. Needless to say, life is busy, chaotic, and messy. More than anything, it is abundantly joyful and full of laughter.
We are passionate about orphan care, family preservation and adoption. We started a blueberry farm here in NW Arkansas as a way to provide an educational and skills opportunity for orphaned and at-risk teenage boys in Marondera, Zimbabwe. We have partnered with an incredible organization called Help One Now and you'll pretty much always find us advocating for the kids and families in communities across the globe being cared for by the HON local leaders.
